What does INAJ do?
It depends which plan you're on. Basic is a free job tracker, forever: add the jobs you're going after (paste a link or enter them by hand), get an AI summary of each one, and keep your own dated notes and a timeline on a four-column board. Pro does all of that plus the searching and writing: it finds jobs that match your resume every day, runs a full fit analysis, tailors a resume and cover letter to each posting, finds the LinkedIn contacts worth reaching out to, and — once you have an interview — writes a company and role-specific prep brief.
How does INAJ find jobs for me?
This is a Pro feature — Basic doesn't search for jobs, only tracks the ones you add. On Pro, INAJ runs a search every day against public job listings and evaluates what it finds against your resume and preferences. Anything it finds is scored and shows up in your board's "Jobs we found" rail.
How are matches scored? (Pro)
INAJ reads the full job description alongside your resume and preferences, then assigns a 1–5 fit score. A 3.0 or above is a strong match, shown by default in your "Jobs we found" rail; lower scores show up under "Weaker matches" so you can still review them if you want. The score reflects how closely the posting’s requirements overlap with your background — seniority, domain, work-mode requirements, and must-haves you’ve flagged in your preferences all factor in.
Do I get a tailored resume for every match? (Pro)
No — and that’s intentional. A tailored PDF is generated for roles you actively choose to pursue: click Analyze Job on a card in your rail (or open the job page and run it from the Actions panel there), then click Generate Resume. The result is your own resume re-framed around what this specific posting is looking for, delivered as a download-ready PDF. Pro includes up to 100 tailored resume PDFs a month. Can INAJ write my cover letter? (Pro)
Yes. Once you've analyzed a role, a Generate Cover Letter action unlocks in its Actions panel. One click produces a one-page PDF cover letter tailored to the company and your background, written in a natural voice you can send as-is or edit. You can generate up to 100 cover letters per month, resetting at the start of each month. See Analysis & Resume for the walkthrough.
How often does it search for jobs? (Pro)
Every day. New matches from that day's search show up in your board's "Jobs we found" rail. When you first complete Pro's onboarding, an initial search kicks off right away so you don’t have to wait until the next day for your first results.
Can I submit a job I found myself?
Yes, on both plans. Paste any job posting URL into the bar at the top of your board. On Pro, INAJ evaluates it the same way as its daily matches: fit score, full analysis, and a tailored PDF if you want one. On Basic, it adds the job to your board with an AI summary — no score or tailored resume, since Basic doesn't run the fit analysis. No link? What if a match is wrong — scored too high or too low? (Pro)
Discard the match and add a note explaining why (e.g., “too junior,” “wrong stack,” “company too small”). INAJ runs a classifier on your note and creates a feedback entry that shapes how similar postings are scored in the future. You can also add a positive note on a role you liked to tell INAJ to surface more like it. Feedback applies to new postings only — it doesn’t retroactively change scores already on your board. How much does it cost?
INAJ has two plans. Basic is free, forever — no card, no trial, no time limit. Pro is $49 per month, no contracts, no setup fees, and no placement commissions. Pro's first 7 days are free with no payment card required. See Billing for the full breakdown of what’s included and how to cancel.
Is my data secure?
Your resume and the profile INAJ derives from it (Pro only — Basic doesn't ask for either) are stored on INAJ’s servers and used only to evaluate and score job postings for you. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe — INAJ never sees or stores your card details. See Billing for more on how Stripe handles your payment information.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. During your free trial you can simply let it end — you’re never charged. After you subscribe, go to Subscription under your profile menu to cancel. Cancelling takes effect immediately, not at the end of your billing period, and drops your account to the free Basic plan — your profile, resume, and feedback are saved in case you come back. What if I land a job?
Cancel when you get an offer — you owe nothing beyond what you’ve already paid. No commissions, no placement fees.
